Happy 5th Birthday to us! (And meet our new team!)

Studio Legal has recently undergone a major regroup as Katie, Sean and Mike’s respective music industry careers have all taken off and they have focused their attention on their individual pursuits. Jennifer has spent the last 12 months searching for the best talent to fill their shoes – a tall order.

As Studio Legal celebrated its 5th birthday on 1 July, there’s no better time to formally unveil our brand-new team! Introducing the creative legal minds that will be assisting you and your business in the new financial year and beyond:

Tony Grujovski – Senior Solicitor & Trade Mark Attorney

Tony is our resident intellectual property guru, drawing on his extensive experience within this area of law to manage our client’s disputes and protect their valuable portfolios. He comes to Studio Legal having spent the last four years at intellectual property law firm Actuate IP.  Tony draws on his passion for all things music and keen interest in the film, media and technology industries in representing our creatively driven clients, and has been involved so far in handling commercial, entertainment and IP matters.

Suzy Wood – Solicitor

In her time at Studio Legal, Suzy has developed her skill set across commercial entertainment law and intellectual property matters. She is passionate about helping kick-start creative businesses with the diligent and focused legal advice they need to reach their potential. As well as being a lover of local music, she is a self-confessed nerd and there is a special place in her heart for clients in the technology and innovation space.

Bree Coker – Legal Assistant

Bree is the newest member of the Studio Legal team and joins us as our Legal Assistant – helping to keep the busy team organised and at the top of their game. Previously, she has spent time working for both a major record label and a film distributor before returning once again to the legal industry. Having trained in both classical and contemporary singing for many years, Bree speaks the language of music and her love of dance music sees her dabble with DJ-ing in her spare time.
