LEGAL/ PERSONAL ASSISTANT ROLE

-Leading boutique law firm for creatives

– Diverse duties (legal assistance, marketing, office admin and PA duties)

– Positive working environment with beautiful offices

The employer

Studio Legal is a boutique law firm for the entertainment, fashion, hospitality and creative industries. Our clients include start-ups, musicians, artists, bars, restaurants, fashion designers, app and website developers, creative agencies and food franchises.

Immerse yourself in a positive and inspiring work environment, experience diversity in your role and work closely with our principal.

The role

These roles do not come around often in Melbourne!

We’re looking for a superstar Legal Assistant / PA. With proven experience in an office environment, this role will start off part-time, with the potential to quickly develop into full-time. Your job would include:

–  Client-facing duties: meeting and greeting, phone answering

–  Personal assistant duties for our busy principal

–  Assisting with company set-ups, business name registrations and other legal administrative tasks

–  Marketing duties: social media, newsletters and networking

–  Assisting our lawyers with research tasks

–  Grant writing for our clients

–  Drafting letters, emails and other legal documents on behalf of solicitors

–  Trade mark portfolio management

–  Filing and database management

–  Drafting quotes, invoices and costs agreements

–  Basic bookkeeping and accounts-handling duties

Our ideal candidate is outgoing, personable, a quick learner, and reliable – someone who isn’t afraid to work hard to stand out in the industry. Relevant qualifications (such as a diploma of Business Administration or Legal Services) will be looked upon favourably. Driver licence essential.

We’re looking for someone who wants to make legal administration their career, so this role probably isn’t suitable for a law student.

What’s on offer

Showcase your skills and give your creative side a workout in this varied, challenging role! Handling everything from marketing and social media to assisting our principal on a variety of matters to legal administration tasks, you will have plenty of autonomy and responsibility.

Studio Legal isn’t your average law firm. Working closely with our principal, Jennifer Tutty, you’ll be treated as an individual and looked after as part of our family.

Salary commensurate with experience.

To apply

Send a two-page cover letter demonstrating your suitability for this role, and your resume, to Jennifer Tutty (Principal) by email to employment@studiolegal.com.au.

Phone enquiries to Jennifer Tutty 03 9521 2128 only between 10am and midday on weekdays.
