Jennifer Tutty
Principal

With nearly 15 years’ experience in her field, Jennifer practises across a wide spectrum of intellectual property, media, entertainment, technology and commercial law matters.

Jennifer’s services are highly sought after by a range of successful media personalities, creative agencies, artists, music festivals, hospitality entrepreneurs and other creative businesses. As a business owner herself, Jennifer is able to combine her commercial experience and comprehensive legal knowledge to deliver practical legal advice and strategic results for her clients.

Having trained as a classical pianist and indulged in an illustrious DJ career, Jennifer brings significant industry knowledge to her practice and is often engaged to speak at conferences and universities to share her experiences. A mentor to young lawyers, she encourages graduates to develop and pursue unique careers in law.


Tony Grujovski
Senior Solicitor

Tony Grujovski is a solicitor and registered trade marks attorney with an extensive background practising in intellectual property law matters. He has acted for clients involved in disputes and litigation across all forms of IP (focusing on trade mark and copyright disputes and trade mark oppositions) and commercial transactions which focus on protecting the IP rights and confidential information of his clients.

Tony currently manages our clients’ trade mark and design portfolios, drawing on his IP knowledge to ensure that these valuable assets are adequately protected both in Australia and internationally.

Tony has a keen interest in acting for creatively driven clients drawing from his passion for music, media and technology. He has a track record of protecting and enforcing the IP rights of fashion houses, photographers and software development providers.


Suzy Wood
Solicitor

Since joining Studio Legal in 2015, Suzy has routinely advised on a range of legal matters for our creative clients, including intellectual property, media and technology, commercial and contract law matters.

She is committed to helping artists and small creative businesses navigate legal challenges and lock down important deals, by giving practical and timely advice to our clients in language they can understand.

Holding a Bachelor of Laws with first class honours and a Bachelor of Journalism with distinction, she has previous journalism industry experience and has worked with a number of digital civil liberties non-profits.

Suzy is a classically trained clarinetist, but nowadays she prefers metal to Mozart and on the weekends you can usually find her at the noisiest gig in town.


Bree Coker
Legal Assistant

Bree wears many hats across Admin, Accounts and Marketing to ensure the Studio Legal office runs like a well-oiled machine!  Bree’s legal career began several years ago and saw her working across a variety of practice areas including family law, intellectual property and trade marks.

Bree holds a Bachelor of Entertainment (Business Management) and enjoys combining her passion for creative industries with her legal background. Bree has previously spent time working for both a major record label and a film distributor, before returning to law.

Bree trained in both classical and contemporary singing for many years, whilst her love of dance music sees her dabble with DJ-ing in her spare time (although she’s not quite ready for a club residency just yet!)


Sean Mullins

Sean Mullins is currently on extended leave as he focuses on his musical endeavours writing, recording and playing in band Tiny Little Houses.  We didn’t want to say good-bye completely to Sean (who joined the practice in 2011), so he has agreed to stay on board to provide entertainment industry advice from time to time to clients.

Sean has a comprehensive knowledge of how individuals and businesses can protect their brands and creative rights throughout Australia and internationally.

Sean is also teaches media law to community radio station RRR, entertainment law to Australian Institute of Music and is an avid traveller and festival goer.


Mike Katz

Studio Legal recently lost another lawyer, Mike Katz (aka artist and DJ Harvey Sutherland), to fame and fortune.  Mike is now busy touring the world, impressing fans with his live DJ shows and quirky dance releases.

A diligent lawyer who loves getting knee deep in contracts, Mike is staying on board at Studio Legal to provide entertainment industry advice during this busy schedule.
