We’re more than lawyers

A word from Jennifer, our Founder and Principal

I created Studio Legal to deliver two opportunities. First to offer creative people and businesses a like-minded legal partner. Second, to create a welcoming home for lawyers and other staff who not only love working in the law but share my love of beautiful things, have their own creative passions, and (just like our clients) don’t feel right working with a stuffy corporate law firm.

At Studio Legal, we’re not just great lawyers, we’re musicians, DJs, interior designers, fashionistas, make-up artists, business owners, hospitality operators, furniture makers… the list goes on.  That’s why my team is so special. Our clients get expert legal service from down to earth people who genuinely love, celebrate and are immersed in what our clients do.

Jennifer Tutty

Founder and Principal

Jennifer (Jen) started Studio Legal 10 years ago. Her dedication to her craft and hard work has seen Studio Legal become a ‘go to’ firm for creative people and businesses in Australia.

With nearly 20 years’ legal experience as well as being a business owner and creative herself (google Jen Tutty DJ!), Jennifer gets the legal, commercial and creative pressures faced by her clients, and is able to effortlessly solve a myriad of legal problems strategically, effectively and with an empathetic touch.

When she’s not in the office, you will find Jen walking on the beach, doing yoga, drinking wine, or hanging out with her family and close friends. You may also find Jen behind the decks (in a rare set) if you are really lucky!
